Superbat is from the planet KRAPTON. His planet was destroyed by his evil brother Bob "The Evil Guy", when he was a young bat. He was thrown from the planet when he was riding the Hurl-O-Ship. SB was sent to the planet RODENTRIA, a world ruled by rodents, and now protects the inhabitants of RODENTRIA.

He has to keep his identy a secret from everyone, including Slois Paine of the Nightly News. He leads a life under the false name of Stark Bent, a news reporter.

BUT WHEN EVER DANGER STRIKES THE CITIZINS OF BATROPOLIS, STARK CHANGES INTO THE CLUTZY YET VERY STUDLY SUPERBAT!!!!
